SOME OF THEM ARE THINGS THAT WE'RE ALREADY DOING. SO WE'RE ALREADY KIND OF ALONG THE WAY BECAUSE WE HAD SOME OF THE DATA AS WE WERE DEVELOPING THE, THE REPORT. AND SOME OF THEM ARE SHORT TERM THINGS THAT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED PRETTY EASILY WITHOUT MUCH FUNDING. AND THEN SOME OF THEM ARE LONGER TERM, BIGGER PROJECTS THAT WILL REQUIRE MORE FUNDING AND, YOU KNOW, PLANNING, BUT EACH OF THEM ARE BROKEN UP BY THE DIFFERENT DOMAINS OF LIVABILITY. SO I WON'T READ EVERY SINGLE ONE. BUT FOR, FOR EXAMPLE, YOU KNOW, WE HAVE THE OUTDOOR SPACES AND BUILDINGS. WE WANT TO CONDUCT A FACILITIES ASSESSMENT OF OTTO KAUFMAN AND THE SENIOR CENTER, WHICH THAT'S ALREADY UNDERWAY. AND THEN ANOTHER ONE UNDER HOUSING, WE WANT TO CREATE AN AGE FRIENDLY CHECKLIST FOR DEVELOPERS THAT SHOWS LIKE THINGS THAT WE WOULD WANT INCLUDED IN DEVELOPMENTS THAT ARE LIKE PUBLIC HEALTH MINDED. SO THIS ACTUALLY ALIGNS VERY WELL WITH THE PLAN FOR HEALTH STUFF THAT WE'RE DOING, BECAUSE A LOT OF IT IS THINKING ABOUT THAT, LIKE, HOW ARE OUR DEVELOPMENTS IN TOWN GOING TO [00:10:01] BE, YOU KNOW, ALIGNED WITH PUBLIC HEALTH? AND THEN THERE'S TRANSPORTATION. SO SOME OF THE SHORTER TERM GOALS ARE THINGS LIKE CONDUCTING PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLIST SAFETY CAMPAIGNS. AND THEN LONGER TERM WOULD BE, YOU KNOW, HAVING SIGNIFICANT TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS FOR OUR LACK OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. AND THEN ADDITIONAL THINGS FOR SOCIAL PARTICIPATION. WHICH PART OF THIS IS ALSO ALIGNED WITH OUR ASSESSMENT OF THE AUTO KAUFMAN FACILITY, DISCUSSING ADDITIONAL OPTIONS WITH OUR OTHER PARTNERS AROUND THE COUNTY. AND THEN COMMUNITY AND HEALTH SERVICES. SOME OF THESE ARE LONG TERM GOALS, LIKE HAVING A DEDICATED HEALTH OR HUMAN SERVICES STAFF IN THE TOWNSHIP, BUT THEN ALSO SOME MORE SHORT TERM THINGS, LIKE INCREASING SOME OF THE OFFERINGS THAT WE HAVE AND ASSESSING THE FEASIBILITY OF EXPANDING SOME OF THE PROGRAMS THAT PEOPLE REALLY LIKE, LIKE THE BULK PICKUPS AND SOME OF THE OTHER SERVICES THAT WE PROVIDE IN TOWN. COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION. WE WANT TO UPDATE SOME OF OUR WEB BASED PORTALS FOR SENIORS. SO MAKE SURE THAT OUR SENIOR WEBSITE HAS ALL THE INFORMATION THAT IS RELEVANT TO SENIORS ALL IN ONE PLACE, SO THAT THEY CAN ACCESS IT REALLY EASILY. AND THEN CREATING A, OUR IT DEPARTMENT'S WORKING ON CREATING A UNIFIED ONLINE PORTAL WHERE PEOPLE CAN ACCESS EVERYTHING THAT'S RELATED TO THEIR PROPERTY ALL IN ONE PLACE. SO THAT'LL BE REALLY HELPFUL FOR SENIORS. AND THEN THE, THE OVERARCHING ONE AT THE BEGINNING IS JUST HAVING, YOU KNOW, POLICY THAT SUPPORTS SOME OF THESE PROGRAMS AND, YOU KNOW, MAKING SURE THAT THIS IS LONG LASTING INITIATIVE. YEAH. SO THE OBJECTIVES AND GOALS THAT ARE DEVELOPED BY THAT GROUP ARE BROAD, AND NOT ALL OF THEM ARE SOMETHING THAT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT SPECIFICALLY WOULD DO. SO WE ALWAYS PULL OUT SOME OF THOSE OBJECTIVES THAT WE THINK THAT WE CAN TAKE ON, THAT ALIGN WITH OUR STRATEGIC PLAN OR OTHER GOALS. SO I JUST WANTED TO GO OVER SOME OF THE OBJECTIVES THAT WE THINK WE CAN PULL OUT FROM THAT, AND THAT WE'RE PLANNING TO USE IN OUR STRATEGIC PLAN DEVELOPMENT THAT WE'LL BE STARTING, HOPEFULLY IN THE FALL FOR THE NEXT STRATEGIC PLAN CYCLE. SO, FOR EXAMPLE, THE FIRST ONE IS INCREASING THE NUMBER OF TOUCH POINTS WHERE INFORMATION ABOUT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES IS AVAILABLE. WE'RE NOT ACTUALLY OFFERING THOSE SERVICES OURSELVES, BUT WE CAN SUPPORT THAT BY MAKING SURE THAT WE GIVE OUT INFORMATION TO THOSE DOCTOR'S OFFICES AND THINGS THAT ARE IN TOWN. OUR NURSES DO TOUCH POINTS WITH THOSE OFFICES. THE SECOND ONE IS INCREASING BEHAVIORAL AND MENTAL HEALTH PREVENTION AND EDUCATION ACTIVITIES OFFERED IN SOMERSET COUNTY. SO WE ALREADY DO A LOT OF THIS THROUGH SEVERAL OF OUR GRANTS AND PROGRAMS.
