THE WORKFORCE ISSUES WE HAVE FACED AND THE NUMBER OF POSITIONS WE HAVE, UM THEN REDUCED BY SINCE COVID STARTED, UM SO WE HAVE LOST AN ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER. WE HAVE AN OPEN POSITION THAT HAS NOT BEEN POSTED FOR A DEPUTY HEALTH OFFICER. WE HAVE LOST OUR HEALTH EDUCATOR. WE HAVE LOST OUR PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE AND WE NO LONGER ALLOWED OR HAVE CAPACITY OR SPACE TO HAVE INTERNS AND WE USED TO HAVE ABOUT 2 TO 3 INTERNS. PERSON, MESTRE. DOING VOLUNTEER AND OR GRANT FUNDED WORK AND DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS. YOU NO LONGER HAVE SPACE FOR THEM, SO WE HAVE HAD A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN OUR WORKFORCE. HAVE NOT. IN SOME, SOME INSTANCES HAVE NOT BEEN ALLOWED TO POST FOR THE POSITIONS AND OTHER UM, SPACES. THE POSITIONS. THE RESTRICTIONS THAT WE'VE HAD ON HOW WE COULD POST HAVE MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO HIRE FOR THAT POSITION. SO, FOR EXAMPLE, THE ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER WE HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY FILLING THAT POSITION. ONCE IT BECAME OPEN, AND WE ENDED UP GOING TO A PRIVATE COMPANY FOR OUR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES IN THE TOWNSHIP, WHICH HAS WE ARE LEARNING FROM PUBLIC COMMENT AND OTHER COMMITTEES THAT WE ARE HAVING SIGNIFICANT ISSUES WITH OUR THAT THAT MODEL. WE'RE TRYING TO THINK OF WAYS TO MAKE UP TO COME UP WITH THE HYBRID SCHEDULE, BUT IT'S VERY CHALLENGING AND VERY DIFFICULT WHEN WE ALSO HAVE TO DEAL WITH, UM YOU KNOW, FIELDWORK INSPECTIONS COMPLAINTS , INVESTIGATIONS IN THE FIELD, AND SOME OF THESE CAN BE SCHEDULED, BUT MOST OF THEM CANNOT. OR THERE'S TIME. THERE'S TIME RESTRICTIONS TIME LIMITS ON LIKE, YOU KNOW, WE HAVE TO RESPOND WITHIN A CERTAIN TIMEFRAME. ARE THERE ANY SPACES IN THE BUILDING THAT WE COULD PUT THEM? IT'S REALLY A SHAME THAT WE CAN'T HAVE INTERNS LIKE IN THIS DAY AND AGE THAT WE CAN'T HAVE INSURANCE BECAUSE IT'S SPACE BLANKETS THINK THEY PROBABLY THAT'S CONCERNING.
